Job Title: Senior Domiciliary Care Worker

Care Managers Ltd is a leading provider of high-quality domiciliary care services in Slough and the surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Domiciliary Care Worker to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis or part-time, with guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, following their individual care plans
  • Work closely with care managers to develop and implement care plans, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated
  • Supervise and support a team of care workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
  • Conduct regular assessments of clients\' needs and preferences, and make necessary adjustments to their care plans
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for clients
  • Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure all care workers are following company policies and procedures, and adhere to all relevant regulations and legislation
  • Participate in on-call duties as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and reports
  • Continuously strive to improve the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Act as a positive role model for care workers, promoting a person-centered and compassionate approach to care
  • Assist with recruitment and training of new care workers as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall development of the service
  • Provide out-of-hours coordination support when needed
Qualifications & Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years\' experience in a domiciliary care setting
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to use electronic call monitoring system (ECMS) to complete daily report, review care plan of service users
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Good understanding of relevant regulations and legislation
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and schedules
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
