Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a technically focused Document Controller/Information Manager to lead digital document control across major construction projects. The role emphasizes managing VfP-based information, CDE platforms, and ensuring data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

You will train teams, improve workflows, and collaborate with multidisciplinary groups to maintain accurate, timely information delivery and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Genuine technical Document Control / Information Management experience required, not just admin.
• Strong IT and digital systems capability.
• Experience with CDEs / information management platforms.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Good understanding of ISO 19650 information management principles.
• Experience managing documentation across complex projects or multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to train colleagues in digital systems and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical information management approach.
• Excellent communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with Field View or other CDE platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage project information through VfP with proper naming, version control and filing structure.
• Oversee site-based information capture via Field View.
• Control document workflows, reviews and transmittals.
• Ensure compliance with information management standards and protocols.
• Monitor submission status and generate reports on doc status and maturity.
• Support audits, quality checks and handovers.
• Provide guidance and training on document control systems to project teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients to maintain information flow.
• Assist in developing and improving digital document control processes across projects.
