Job summary

Sopra Steria Limited is recruiting for a DevOps/SRE role to keep critical systems reliable while driving improvements. You will own incidents, monitor health, and coordinate Elastic‑related activities across BAU and project tasks.

The role emphasizes ITIL processes, collaboration with customers and suppliers, and hands‑on scripting in a security‑conscious environment. Office‑based with multiple UK locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in incident management and ITIL‑based processes.
• Strong Linux administration skills and network fundamentals.
• Hands‑on with Kubernetes and IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with Elastic stack components and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, triage and resolve incidents promptly with focus on availability.
• Monitor system health and uphold high service reliability.
• Act as the focal point for Elastic‑related problems, changes and queries.
• Work across BAU and project activities within ITIL framework.
• Develop relationships with customers and third‑party suppliers.
• Employ scripting and automation to improve reliability; use IaC.
