Job summary

Sopra Steria Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help keep critical systems running smoothly while improving reliability and security. You will handle incidents, monitor health and coordinate with teams in an ITIL-based environment, with office-based roles in London, Gloucestershire, Manchester or North Yorkshire.

You’ll work across BAU and project activities, taking ownership of incidents, applying automation and scripting to enhance resilience, and building strong

Qualifications

• Experience with virtualised environments and container orchestration.
• Practical knowledge of infrastructure as code approaches and scripting.
• Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with PKI, certificates and authentication methods.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, triage and resolve incidents and changes promptly.
• Monitor system health and ensure high availability.
• Act as focal point for Elastic-related services and changes.
• Work on BAU and project activities within ITIL-based processes.
• Build effective relationships with customers and suppliers.
