Job summary

Partnerize is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own deployment architecture and Kubernetes platform modernization. You’ll drive CI/CD pipelines, guardrails, and migration strategy across our on-premise estate while embedding with engineering teams to accelerate safe delivery.

You’ll shape self-service workflows, standards, and runbooks, partnering with TechOps to move workloads to Kubernetes and deploy using modern tooling. This is a hands-on, autonomous role with real impact.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a people-first culture.
• Proven Ansible experience: roles, inventories, vault, idempotency.
• Docker and Docker Compose in production environments.
• Solid networking fundamentals and scripting (Bash/Python).
• Experience with GitOps tooling: ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with observability tooling: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager.
• Ability to deliver iteratively using existing stack with pragmatic roadmaps.
• Security-conscious approach to design and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment guardrails for Kubernetes-based workloads.
• Collaborate with TechOps to standardise platform design and workflows.
• Containerise and migrate workloads to Kubernetes, starting non-critical environments.
• Develop self-service runbooks, templates, and documentation for onboarding.
• Build robust deployment pipelines using helm/kustomize/ArgoCD or similar.
• Implement application observability and alerting within namespaces.
• Maintain documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing for engineers.
