Job summary

Partnerize is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead deployment architecture and modernise our Kubernetes platform. You will own CI/CD pipelines, guardrails, and migration strategies across on-premise estates, partnering closely with TechOps to deliver fast, safe software releases.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a collaborative, people-first culture.
• Strong, demonstrable experience with Ansible: roles, inventories, vault, idempotency, etc.
• Comfortable with Docker and Docker Compose in production environments
• Understanding of networking fundamentals
• Strong scripting ability: Bash and Python
• Experience with GitOps tooling: ArgoCD or Flux
• Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager or equivalent)
• Ability to think creatively within constraints and plan pragmatically, delivering iteratively
• Methodical, security-conscious approach

Responsibilities

• BAU & Platform Stability: use Ansible to automate deployments and support feature releases; monitor health and drive post-mortems; maintain runbooks and guides for onboarding and releases.
• Kubernetes: shape engineering self-service workflows, set standards for namespaces, drive containerisation and migrations to Kubernetes, establish safe pipelines with Helm/Kustomize/ArgoCD.
• Build deployment pipelines: create CI/CD workflows for Kubernetes deployments with automated guardrails for fast, repeatable delivery.
• Observability: implement metrics, logging and alerts; provide visibility into workload health.
• Documentation: create runbooks and templates to enable self-service within guardrails.
