Job summary

Netcompany is seeking a DevOps Engineer to implement and support improvements, enhancing software quality and accelerating delivery. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team across Development, QA, IT Operations, Infosec and UCD to apply DevOps best practices.

Key responsibilities include tooling, containerisation, stakeholder communication, and translating business needs into efficient DevOps solutions with a focus on automation and reliability in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Practical experience using Terraform (IaC), Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience in Python.
• Experienced with multiple ecosystem databases, architecture and integration.
• Experience with monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
• CI/CD: Proficiency in Jenkins pipelines.
• Database management with Liquibase.
• Scripting: automation with Python.
• GitOps principles understanding.
• Java and Maven for builds.
• Automation, proactive monitoring and best-practice mindset.
• Willingness to travel.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to attain UK Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Experience of DevOps tooling, containers and containerisation.
• Communication: translate business requirements into technical implementation.
• Act as a business SME to support DevOps efficiency.
• Stakeholder management to ensure service runs effectively.
