Job summary

Netcompany seeks a DevOps Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team focused on DevOps improvements, efficiency and faster delivery. You will work across Development, QA, IT Operations and InfoSec, applying best practices and supporting stakeholders in a dynamic, public/private sector mix.

Key responsibilities include containerisation, cloud tooling, and effective collaboration to translate business needs into technical solutions, with a requirement for UK work eligibility and security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using Terraform, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience in Java.
• Experience with multiple ecosystem databases and integration.
• Experience with monitoring tools for reliability and performance.
• Liquibase for schema change management.
• Knowledge of GitOps principles.
• Public sector/government experience is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel; right to work in the UK; UK security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Extensive experience of DevOps tooling, containers and containerisation.
• Communication: translate business requirements into technical implementation.
• Act as a business SME to support DevOps efficiently.
• Stakeholder management to ensure service effectiveness.
