Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our hands-on cloud infra team in the UK. You will drive AWS and Kubernetes workloads, IaC, CI/CD and platform reliability across engineering squads.

We value practical problem solving, clear communication and the ability to work independently while collaborating with wider teams. AWS or Kubernetes certs are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role with strong AWS/Kubernetes experience.
• Extensive hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong experience deploying, managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Good knowledge of Docker, container registries and Helm.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security and access management.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage and maintain cloud infrastructure within AWS.
• Deploy, operate and support Kubernetes environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, container and application deployment issues.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, security and platform reliability.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and share knowledge with colleagues.
