Job summary

Client Server Limited in Bracknell is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and operate scalable production platforms across AWS, VMware and Kubernetes, with a strong focus on CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.

You will design zero-downtime deployments, improve observability with Prometheus, Grafana and ELK, and mentor multiple development teams while working from home most of the time and visiting the Bracknell office twice a week.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and maintaining software delivery pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, Artifactory and AWS ECS/EKS
• Experience managing production hosting environments, AWS and VMware
• Solid understanding of Linux, Windows Server and networking
• You're familiar with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Icinga2 or APM platforms
• You're collaborative with great communication skills

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy and operate production applications across AWS, VMware and Kubernetes.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Create self-service environments for developers to work more independently.
• Enhance monitoring and observability to identify and resolve production issues.
• Drive high availability and zero-downtime deployments.
• Share expertise and guide multiple development teams.
