Job summary

NEC Software Solutions seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure, implement IaC, and maintain fast, secure CI/CD pipelines across national public-sector systems. The role requires hands-on AWS production experience and strong Kubernetes expertise.

You will collaborate with Solutions Architects, monitor production environments, and contribute ideas for scalable improvements while ensuring security and reliability across critical services.

Qualifications

• Experience running cloud infrastructure in production on AWS; Azure is a bonus.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD in production.
• Knowledge of Terraform (Teragrunt is a bonus); written reusable modules across multiple environments.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud infrastructure provisioning and day-to-day operations in collaboration with Solutions Architect.
• Use Infrastructure as Code as the default for everything.
• Keep CI/CD pipelines fast and reliable and fix root causes rather than patching.
• Monitor environments for performance, uptime and resource usage; troubleshoot issues.
