Job summary

Sanctuary Group in London is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead a portfolio of building remediation projects within the housing programme. Reporting to the Head of Development (Building Remediation South), you will drive procurement, delivery, and value-for-money across multiple schemes.

The role involves managing budgets, coordinating consultants and contractors, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders while ensuring compliance with legislation and funding requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects in social housing or similar environment.
• Experience coordinating consultant teams and procuring contractors.
• Proven track record in people management.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the efficient procurement, delivery and management of building remediation projects.
• Ensure delivery of high quality and value for money within agreed budgets through effective financial management.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external customers and strategic partners.
• Ensure that development opportunities and projects meet required legislation, best practice and financial performance.
