Job summary

Avove is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Design team in a hybrid role based near Brighouse. You’ll lead the delivery of a large design project or a portfolio, supervise multidisciplinary teams, manage clients and stakeholders, and oversee safety, quality and budget.

Working with the Design Lead, you’ll drive planning, risk management and progress reviews, coordinate interfaces, and ensure projects meet time, cost and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineering, infrastructure, utilities or construction projects through the design lifecycle.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing programmes, budgets, resources and project controls.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Experience identifying and managing project risks and delivery issues.
• Understanding of CDM Regulations and design management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering design projects from feasibility to construction support.
• Coordinate with Design Leads to deliver safe, compliant designs to client specs.
• Manage programmes, budgets, resources and forecasts against milestones.
• Build relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain.
• Lead design reviews, progress meetings and workshops; manage actions and risks.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and contractual requirements.
• Mentor junior project managers and contribute to strategic delivery.
