Avove is seeking a Design Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary design teams delivering water and wastewater projects across the UK. You will ensure programmes meet budget, schedule and quality objectives while managing governance, resources and stakeholder relationships.

The role is based from either our Durham or Glasgow office, with other locations considered and a mix of office and home working. A full valid driving licence is a prerequisite.

Formación

• Degree-qualified in Engineering or Project Management.
• Experience delivering water and wastewater projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects or programmes simultaneously.
• Experienced in working collaboratively with clients, external design partners and geographically dispersed teams.
• Expertise in project governance, technical assurance, risk management and programme delivery.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience operating within NEC contracts and AMP programmes.
• Experience mentoring colleagues and supporting business growth initiatives.
• Committed to fostering collaborative, high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Leading multidisciplinary design teams to deliver water and wastewater projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Managing multiple design workstreams and ensuring programme, quality and commercial objectives are achieved.
• Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, operational teams and framework partners to support successful project delivery.
• Leading design assurance activities, managing risk and driving continuous improvement initiatives across programmes.
• Planning and coordinating engineering resources, including external design partners and consultants.
