Job summary

Arcus FM Limited in Leeds is seeking a talented Design and Project Manager to lead and coordinate design activities across refurbishment, fit-out and construction projects nationwide. You will ensure design information is coordinated, compliant, buildable and delivered on time, while collaborating with project, commercial, pre-construction and operational teams.

The role suits an experienced Design Manager or Project Manager seeking broader responsibility, with opportunities to develop design

Qualifications

• Qualification in Construction, Architecture, Building Services, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in contractor/consultant environment.
• Understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and buildability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate design activities across the project lifecycle.
• Support design programmes, track deliverables and milestones.
• Facilitate design workshops, coordination meetings and technical reviews.
• Review design information for compliance and buildability.
• Manage RFIs, design changes and risk registers.
• Coordinate information flow between clients, consultants, subcontractors and delivery teams.
• Support BIM, CDE processes and CDM/Building Regulations compliance.
• Assist with pre-construction tasks including bids and tenders.
