Bovis in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Design Manager to lead design management from pre-bid to handover, exercising independence and collaborating with the senior project team.

You will oversee design performance across multiple projects, manage consultants through pre-construction, bid for new work, and report milestones to the Head of Design Management. Strong CDM, BIM, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires CSCS card.
• Professional Construction Qualifications relevant to the role (BSc or MSc in construction project management, building studies or architecture).
• Thorough knowledge of Building Safety Act and CDM roles.

Responsabilités

• Deliver Design Management on projects with independence using experience and judgement.
• Oversee the design performance of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with objectives and client requirements.
• Monitor design programme, resource allocation, and delivery milestones across the portfolio.
• Manage consultant design through pre-construction period with integration of specialist designers.
• Bid for new work collaboratively with project teams and establish external relationships.
