Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior Design Management professional to lead the Design Management Team across the UK and internationally. The role includes mentoring, process development, and ensuring quality and contractual compliance across projects in a hybrid work setting.

You will coordinate with leaders, drive business planning, and manage sub-consultants, while ensuring financial controls and high standards across the DM function.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the design process.
• Project and design programming skills.
• Experience in development and implementation of design management tools and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commercial awareness of projects.
• Construction knowledge/experience.
• Proficiency in MS Project/Excel/InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Design Management Team and related duties.
• Oversee sub-consultants and contractual administration.
• Establish and implement Design Management procedures and governance.
• Support and mentor junior DM team members.
• Contribute to performance management and project delivery.
