Job summary

Tetra Tech in the UK is seeking an Associate Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary design teams across a portfolio from concept to completion on major infrastructure projects. You’ll coordinate design delivery, manage programme, risk and commercial performance, and ensure safe, buildable solutions aligned with client objectives.

Based in London or Bristol with hybrid working, you’ll develop client relationships, foster high‑performing teams and help grow our design management capability

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related discipline.
• Chartered status, or progress towards chartership, is desirable.
• Proven UK experience leading multidisciplinary design on complex construction or engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams to deliver integrated, compliant and buildable solutions.
• Coordinate design delivery across the full project lifecycle.
• Manage programme, risk and commercial performance for projects.
• Develop trusted client relationships and contribute to client development.
• Coach and develop design teams and foster a collaborative culture.
