Job summary

Databricks is seeking a strategic technical leader to collaborate with our largest enterprise customers in the UK & Ireland. As a Lead Solutions Architect in the UKI Field Engineering practice, you will drive transformation through data and AI, advising at the executive level and shaping long-term data strategies for complex organisations.

You will demonstrate builder culture, own your approach, and influence across leadership teams to accelerate Databricks adoption.

Qualifications

Experience influencing technology change at a global-scale enterprise level.
Strong Data & AI strategy and implementation experience.
Commercial awareness of customer/vendor motivations and sales cycles.
Familiarity with major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and key ISVs.
Bias towards hands-on, build-first solutions with credible executive storytelling.
Proven collaboration across diverse teams and leadership levels.
Willingness to travel 20–30% to customer sites in the UK.

Responsibilities

Build trusted advisory partnerships with stakeholders from developers to executives.
Design engagement strategies with Account Executives and UKI Leadership.
Mentor and coach the practice to handle complex customer scenarios.
Integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP and third-party tools.
Lead executive engagement, create customer-facing content, speak at industry events.
