Databricks in London (hybrid) seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer to independently lead technical engagements, owning discovery, design, and platform demonstrations. You are a builder who can code, architect, and present—driving Databricks adoption with customer‑facing skills and frontline relationships.

You will design data solutions across data engineering, analytics, and ML, deliver compelling proofs‑of‑concepts, and partner with Account Executives to grow platform consumption using reusable

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering, solutions architecture, or hands‑on consulting.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with production‑quality code and live coding.
• Experience designing data solutions on at least one public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of distributed data systems: Spark, Delta Lake, Hadoop, Kafka, Flink.
• Experience leading technical customer conversations and architecture reviews.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for customer workloads.
• Build and deliver proofs‑of‑concept and live demos to drive wins.
• Own frontline technical relationships with customer engineers and data teams.
• Develop account‑level technical strategies with the AE to grow platform usage.
• Explain differentiation through hands‑on demonstrations and assets.
