A leading project management consultancy in Manchester is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to oversee various construction projects for local and central government. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in cost management and quantity surveying, managing projects worth between £10-£50m. An RICS qualification is preferred. Qualifications

  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management / quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle.
  • Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Pre and post-contract duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Completing feasibility studies.
  • Estimating and cost planning.
  • Managing tendering and procurement activities.
  • Taking responsibility for timely and accurate financial reporting and valuations.
  • Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
