Turner & Townsend in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Cost Engineer for the Energy & Natural Resources division. You will manage cost control for projects within a programme, ensuring data drives management decisions.

The role requires senior expertise in EVM, progress reporting, forecasting, and strong leadership to guide delivery teams. You will collaborate with clients, suppliers and stakeholders and support NEC or FIDIC contract processes.

Qualifications

• Professional project controls experience specialising in Cost Engineering.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and forecasting.
• Strong leadership to influence, manage, motivate, coach and develop a team.

Responsabilités

• Tailoring Cost Control approaches to meet the client’s needs and aligning with best practice.
• Implementing, administering, and maintaining cost control systems and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
• Development of project Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS), align budgets with WBS, to track and control actual costs.
• Map and integrate cost estimates to the Work Breakdown Structure to set the project budget.
• Adherence to NEC or FIDIC contract processes for management, control and reporting of cost data.
• Lead the production of accruals to reflect Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP).
