Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Senior Cost Engineer for the Energy & Natural Resources division. You will manage cost control for multiple projects, lead cost forecasting, and ensure data-driven decisions to deliver on time and within budget.

You’ll collaborate with project teams, apply NEC/FIDIC processes, develop CBS/WBS alignment, and drive accruals and change control. Strong leadership and communication are essential to guide delivery in demanding, complex programmes.

Qualifications

• Professional project controls experience specialising in cost engineering/control.
• Understanding of EVM, progress reporting, forecasting and analysis.
• Ability to lead and influence a project controls team in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Tailor cost control approaches to client needs and best practice.
• Maintain cost control systems to track budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
• Develop CBS and align budgets with WBS; monitor costs.
• Produce accruals and support change processes with cost data.
• Update forecasts and ensure proper cost capture and reporting.
