Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a senior Cost Engineer for its Energy & Natural Resources division. You will lead cost control for multiple projects, managing cost data, budgets and forecasts, and interfacing with the Integrated Project Team to ensure targets are met.

You will apply EVM, forecasting and performance reporting techniques, drive change control, and guide a multidisciplinary team while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering value in a challenging, large-scale

Qualifications

• Detail understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting and performance reporting and analysis.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across project controls.
• Ability to lead cost control activities and influence project decisions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide a team.

Responsibilities

• Tailor cost control approaches to client needs and best practice.
• Maintain cost control systems to track budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts.
• Develop CBS and align budgets with WBS, planning packages and control accounts.
• Produce accruals and ensure actual cost of work performed reflects in cost data.
• Support change processes with cost information for forecasts and change notes.
• Update forecasts to reflect ETC and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Interact with senior stakeholders to present cost control updates on complex projects.
• Lead and develop delivery cost control teams and ensure governance.
