Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Cost Engineer for the Energy & Natural Resources division in the UK. You will lead cost control across complex programmes, develop cost baselines and manage budgets, forecasts and change control while interfacing with management and clients.

You’ll apply earned value management, produce robust cost data, and support decision making on large-scale projects within a collaborative team. A pathway to leadership is offered in a dynamic, growth phase firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cost Engineering/Control across the project lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) and forecasting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead cost control activities.

Responsibilities

• Tailor cost control approaches to client needs and align with best practice.
• Maintain cost control systems for budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts.
• Lead development of CBS, align budgets with WBS and control accounts.
• Prepare accruals and ensure ACWP data accuracy.
• Guide change process with cost information to underpin forecasts.
