Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Senior Cost Engineer (Project Controls) for Energy Infrastructure in the UK. You will lead cost control across multiple projects, develop cost baselines, and ensure data-driven reporting to support time and cost targets.

The role requires expertise in EVM, budgeting, forecasting and strong stakeholder management. You will guide junior staff and collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality cost control outcomes in a complex programme.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cost engineering and cost control across major projects.
• Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management and performance reporting.
• Proven ability to forecast costs and manage budgets in complex programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost control for multiple projects within a programme, ensuring budget alignment.
• Develop CBS/WBS links and maintain robust PMB and cost reporting.
• Coordinate with project teams to drive accurate cost forecasts and ETC.
• Ensure adherence to NEC/FIDIC processes for cost data and reporting.
• Provide cost information for change notes and forecast underpinning.
