Job summary

You will partner with senior leaders to design controls, monitor risk, and drive remediation across lines of business. This role emphasizes proactive risk management, stakeholder collaboration, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Extensive experience in financial services, process improvement, or risk management.
• Proactive control and risk management mindset; ability to articulate control gaps to senior management.
• Ability to influence multiple groups and deliver high-quality, timely deliverables.
• Consultative approach to understand partner needs and deliver solutions.
• Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and monitor risk and control framework; enable strategic initiatives.
• Advise senior leaders on key risk and control decisions.
• Perform walkthroughs, process mapping, risk ID, and controls design/testing.
• Ensure practices comply with risk standards, policies, and regulations, with ongoing monitoring.
• Manage end-to-end issue/action plans, root cause analysis, and remediation across stakeholders.
• Identify metrics to inform health of risk/control environment; manage risk projects.
• Develop enhanced control reporting using automation; present findings to stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on risk, control, and remediation portfolios to leadership.
• Engage with local, regional, and global stakeholders; mentor junior team members.
