Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Vice President Control Manager to strengthen risk and control frameworks across Asset & Wealth Management Workplace Solutions.

You will advise senior leaders, map processes, design controls, and lead end-to-end remediation efforts, ensuring alignment with global standards and regulatory expectations. As a senior leader, you will mentor junior staff, develop meaningful metrics, and drive enhancements in reporting and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Extensive experience in financial services, process improvement, or risk management.
• Proactive control and risk management mindset; ability to articulate control gaps to senior management.
• Ability to influence multiple groups to deliver high quality results.
• Consultative approach, understanding partner needs and delivering solutions.
• Strategic thinker with focus on best practices and continuous improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and monitor the risk and control framework; support strategic initiatives across lines of business.
• Advise senior leaders on key risk and control initiatives; influence decisions at the highest levels.
• Conduct walkthroughs, map processes, design controls, and test the controls.
• Ensure operations comply with risk standards, policies, and regulations; maintain an effective control environment.
• Lead end-to-end issue and action plan workflows with stakeholders to address gaps and remediation.
• Identify meaningful metrics to inform control health; manage risk and controls projects and awareness programs.
• Develop enhanced control reporting using automation and present findings to stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates to senior Workplace Solutions leadership on risk, controls, and portfolio status.
• Engage across local, regional, and global stakeholders; mentor junior team members.
