Churchill Group is seeking a collaborative and people‑focused Senior Cleaning Contract Manager to oversee a team of Contract Managers and rail sites between Derby and London. You will lead a hands‑on team, deliver service excellence, and maximise contract performance across a rail portfolio.

You’ll contribute to new business mobilisation and innovation projects, travel to sites, and work with senior stakeholders to drive improvements, growth, and client satisfaction across the group.

Location: Derby and occasional travel to London
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum depending on experience + company car or car allowance + rail card

We’re looking for acollaborative and people-focused Senior Cleaning Contract Managerto oversee a team of Contract Managers and their rail sites between Derby and London.

In this role, you’ll lead and support a team of two Cleaning Contract Managers, helping them deliver excellent service while maximising contract performance across a portfolio of rail sites, helping to deliver on our train presentation contract. You’ll take a hands‑on approach combining site visits with strategic planning to ensure consistency, innovation, and client satisfaction across your portfolio.

You may also contribute to new business mobilisation and innovation projects across Churchill Group, sharing your operational expertise to help shape best practices across the wider team.

As Senior Cleaning Contract Manager, you will:

• Lead strategic reviews with senior stakeholders through regular meetings.
• Monitor KPIs and quality metrics across contracts, identifying trends and opportunities.
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance and service excellence.
• Oversee financial performance and identify opportunities to improve margins.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to respond to client feedback and drive improvements.
• Implement scalable processes to support sustainable growth

As Senior Cleaning Contract Manager,you will have:

• Proven leadership experience at senior management level within FM or a related sector.
• Experience managing large business portfolios with demonstrated financial growth.
• Background in acquisitions and integrations, with a focus on operational alignment.
• Strong people leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and building high‑performing teams.
• Ability to drive strategic and operational improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and a data‑informed approach to decision‑making.
• A practical, solutions‑focused mindset with long‑term vision.
