Job summary

Churchill Group is seeking a Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee a key cleaning contract for our rail client across London and Kent. You will lead two Duty Managers, balancing hands-on site visits with strategic planning to ensure service excellence and contract margins.

You will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager, help mobilise new business, and contribute to innovation projects that shape best practices across the group.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience at senior management level within FM or related sector.
• Experience managing large business portfolios with financial growth.
• Background in acquisitions and integrations, with a focus on operational alignment.
• Strong people leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and building high-performing teams.
• Ability to drive strategic and operational improvements.

Job description

Location: Multiple sites between London and Kent
Salary: £££ competitive + company car or car allowance

We’re looking for acollaborative and people-focused Cleaning Operations Managerto oversee a key cleaning contract for our rail client.

In this role, you’ll lead and support a team of two Duty Managers across their rail sites between London and Kent, helping them deliver excellent service while maximising contract performance. You’ll take a hands-on approach—combining site visits with strategic planning—to ensure consistency, innovation, and client satisfaction across your portfolio. You will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager.

You may also contribute to new business mobilisation and innovation projects across Churchill Group, sharing your operational expertise to help shape best practices across the wider team.
