Job summary

JEWSON is seeking a Senior Sales Adviser to grow relationships with new and existing customers in Dalkeith. The role focuses on delivering excellent service, upselling products, and coordinating with suppliers to extend knowledge and support project wins.

You will manage orders, advise on trading terms, and contribute to team initiatives. The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and periodic Saturday hours, offering a competitive salary and bonus package.

Qualifications

• Great customer focus and desire to do your absolute best to get the best outcomes.
• B2B Sales development experience from Construction Materials Supply.
• Ability to build rapport and develop good understanding of your portfolio to secure future projects.

Responsibilities

• Building excellent relationships with new and lapsed customers so you can understand and meet their needs.
• Maximising customer interactions to support achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling relevant products.
• Getting to know our suppliers and continuously looking for opportunities to improve product and industry knowledge.
• Ensuring all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion.
• Following plans to continuously improve customer experience.
• Advising customers on trading terms and conditions and information in relation to customer accounts and credit levels.
• Supporting all Company initiatives.
