Job summary

Jewson Dumfries is seeking a Sales Advisor to join our Dumfries (DG1 2JR) branch. You’ll deliver excellent customer service and help customers choose the right building materials.

In this role you’ll process orders, organise delivery times, maintain stock, and work with colleagues to improve service. The position offers a competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance and generous holiday.

Qualifications

• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience in a customer facing environment.
• Passion for working with people.

Responsibilities

• Get to know our product lines and services to assist customers in line with JPS values.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers, offering proactive advice and solutions.
• Use in-house systems to process orders, organise delivery times and update customers.
• Keep the branch and yard tidy to make a great first impression.
• Maintain stock levels and carry out regular counts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify improvement opportunities.
