Job summary

Saab UK, part of the defence group Saab, invites an experienced Senior Compliance Engineer to join the Fareham-based Seaeye underwater robotics team. You will lead compliance activities, develop technical files, and liaise with internal and external partners to maintain CE, UL, FCC, and Lloyds Register standards.

Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Working knowledge EN 61010 and EN 60204 LVD safety standards.
• Knowledge of EMC standards and CE/FCC directives.
• Experience with environmental testing and PCB-related aspects.

Responsibilities

• Control and maintain compliance of products to CE, UL, FCC, and industry standards.
• Create and maintain technical files and declarations for standards.
• Monitor new regulations and communicate impacts to teams.
• Coordinate test accreditation activities with labs and notified bodies.
• Analyze test results and guide design teams to deliver compliant products.
• Present compliance status to stakeholders and auditors.
• Contribute to design reviews and product release for accreditation.
• Travel nationally and occasionally internationally for objectives.
