Job summary

Saab UK, part of a leading defence and security group, invites an experienced Senior Compliance Engineer to join our Fareham-based Saab Seaeye underwater robotics unit. You will ensure product compliance to CE/UL/FCC and other standards, create technical files, and coordinate with labs and internal teams to support regulatory approvals.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with strong EN61010/EN60204 knowledge, EMC expertise, and experience in environmental

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Knowledge of EN 61010 and EN 60204 LVD safety standards.
• Experience with EMC directives and CE/FCC requirements.
• Experience with environmental testing per CE LVD.
• Understanding of mechanical aspects of components/assemblies.
• Ability to interact with internal teams and external labs and suppliers.
• Ability to work alone and in a team with equal performance.

Responsibilities

• Control and maintain compliance of products to CE, UL, FCC and related standards.
• Create and maintain technical files and declarations.
• Monitor new regulations and assess impact on products.
• Coordinate test accreditation activities with labs and notified bodies.
• Analyze test results and update compliance verification plans.
• Present product compliance status to stakeholders and auditors.
• Contribute to design review and ensure products are ready for accreditation.
• Support engineering change process to maintain ongoing compliance.
• Travel nationally and occasionally internationally as required.
