Job summary

Saab UK in Fareham seeks an experienced Senior Compliance Engineer to join the Saab Seaeye underwater robotics unit. You will ensure compliance of products with CE, UL, FCC, and industry standards, preparing technical files and coordinating with labs and auditors.

The role requires engaging with internal teams and external test laboratories, monitoring regulatory changes, and contributing to design reviews. Occasional travel and a strong team mindset are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with EN 61010, EN 60204 LVD safety standards.
• Working knowledge of EMC standards and CE/FCC directives.
• Experience with environmental testing under CE LVD safety standards.
• Understanding of mechanical principles in components/assemblies.
• Ability to interact with 3rd party service providers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Control and maintain product compliance to regulatory standards (CE, UL, FCC).
• Create and maintain technical files and declarations.
• Monitor new regulations and standards and their impact.
• Coordinate with test labs and notified bodies for tests and accreditation.
• Analyze test results to update compliance verification and test plans.
