A prominent NHS Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Communications Officer to join their Research Communications team. This role involves building relationships with healthcare stakeholders, leading communication activities to support research recruitment, and creating engaging content across various channels. Ideal candidates are confident communicators and skilled copywriters with strong relationship management abilities. This is a unique opportunity to enhance the profile of commercial research while directly contributing to patient care improvements.
The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is proud to have secured funding for the Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC), which will play a key role in bringing commercial health research to our region. Supported by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), the NIHR Leicestershire and Northamptonshire CRDC works with primary and secondary care providers to deliver innovative research studies and recruit participants.
We are looking for a Senior Communications Officer to join our Research Communications team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help raise the profile of commercial research, working closely with clinical colleagues, operational teams and external partners.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your communications expertise to help shape the future of commercial research in our region and support improvements in patient care.
Our new strategy, developed with the support and feedback of colleagues, patients, and partners, is our compass for the next seven years (2023-2030).
And we will embed health equality in all we do - taking active steps to reduce the avoidable differences in healthcare that some people face, working in partnership with communities.
This is an exciting moment as we look to the future with clarity on what we already do well and where we need to focus our energies to make an even bigger difference for the people we serve.
