We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Solicitor to lead our legal department. This is a strategic and succession-planning appointment, intended for a solicitor who is ready to lead and develop the commercial offering. Acting as a senior point of reference for clients and colleagues at all offices, with progress to partnership.

Salary

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the commercial legal team, ensuring high standards of legal practice and client satisfaction
• Provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts and agreements, shareholder and partnership agreements, business sales and acquisitions, terms and conditions and trading documentation, general corporate and advisory work
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents with precision and clarity
• Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives
• Manage case files efficiently within the law office setting while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
• Engage in client consultations to understand their needs and deliver tailored legal solutions
• Stay updated on current laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive advice
