We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Around the world, we're feeling the effects of climate change, rapid urbanization, and loss of biodiversity. The rate at which we're seeing large-scale, unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires is increasing. We are here to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations.

As part of our Cost Management team, you'll be involved in a wide range of projects from global and high-profile to small and impactful, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Your expertise in planning, estimating, budgeting, and managing costs will drive growth and smarter working.

The Quantity Surveyor provides professional commercial support to the client’s program/project teams through efficient contract management, cost control, risk & opportunity identification, and forecasting in support of the Project Execution Plans.

You should possess excellent interpersonal skills to build positive and effective relationships within project teams and the wider client organization.

• Work independently within established financial systems to monitor and review project costs and variances on small commercial, regeneration, or residential projects, to control costs.

• Manage medium to large-scale cost projects or significant components of cost management assignments, ensuring the delivery of scope within deadlines.

• Understand and adhere to business risk management principles, communicating concerns to senior managers to mitigate impact.

• Provide advice on risk management principles to ensure compliance with organizational processes.

• Analyze data to identify trends, prepare documentation such as delivery plans, and support decision-making.

• Interact with internal and external stakeholders, applying technical knowledge to ensure project delivery meets expectations.

• Provide technical advice and guidance within the area, supporting colleagues with cost management queries and sharing knowledge.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, resolve issues, and enhance client satisfaction.
