Job summary

STRABAG UK seeks a commercially aware administrator to support project financials across landmark UK infrastructure initiatives. The role involves invoicing, cost tracking, reporting and cost control, working closely with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to encourage and develop a culture of commercial awareness within the team.
• Ability to provide support, guidance and coaching to junior staff on commercial matters.
• Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder focus.
• Strong organisational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in record keeping and administration.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost reports as required.
• Input and post invoices.
• Verify and process invoices against purchase order prices and delivered quantities.
• Match purchase orders and delivery notes with invoices.
• Resolve invoice queries with suppliers.
• Follow approval processes within required timeframes.
• Perform financial administration duties, including invoice processing and cost tracking.
• Provide routine and ad hoc management information to support decision‑making.
• Process incoming and outgoing post.
• Sign for deliveries and distribute them or notify the relevant person or department.
• Ensure visitors are logged through Reception / Security and that accurate visitor records are maintained.
• Greet visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Undertake any other duties as required by the line manager.
