Home Group is seeking a hands-on leader to head a dedicated team delivering supported housing services from Reading. You’ll balance people leadership, service quality, and customer impact, with room to grow as you shape how services are delivered.

The role is temporary (6 months), full-time, with base offices in Reading, and requires DBS check and a driving license; travel across South regions is expected.

You have

• Experience leading and supporting teams in housing or care settings.
• Confidence managing performance and coaching others to succeed.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and customer-focused practice.
• Experience working with people with diverse and complex needs.
• The ability to manage priorities across varied responsibilities. The role will be managing our Older Person Independent Living homes across the South (Hampshire, London and Sussex).

The practical bits

• Temporary (6 months), full time (37.5hpw). You'll work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.
• You can be based at one of our offices in Reading, Portsmouth or Harrow. You will be required to work a minimum of 2 days per week either within our services or at one of our local offices.
• You need an Enhanced with barring list DBS check (we pay)
• You need to be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle insured for business purposes
