Property Claims Handler

Our client, a Global Insurer based in Chelmsford is looking for Claims Handlers with Property Experience! Start dates in September.

This role involves managing a portfolio of property and liability claims across the UK and Europe, from initial investigation through to settlement. The successful candidate will ensure all claims are handled in line with technical and operational standards, including data protection and information security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, negotiate, and settle claims professionally and efficiently
  • Liaise with insured parties, insurers, brokers, and overseas stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
  • Produce high-quality reports in line with internal guidelines and professional standards
  • Ensure accurate time reporting, billing, and invoice processing
  • Collaborate closely with external adjusters where appropriate
  • Participate in client review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
