Job summary

Lloy d’s Europe is seeking a Claims Oversight Manager to shape and strengthen claims performance across the Lloyd’s market. You will oversee claims performance across a portfolio of managing agents, ensuring alignment with Lloyd’s Claims Principles and a best-in-class approach.

You will use data and relationships to drive improvement, identify emerging risks and support market-wide initiatives, while fostering accountability and continuous learning across the network.

Qualifications

• Experience in claims, conduct risk, delegated authority or a related oversight function.
• Strong knowledge of London and international insurance markets.
• Understanding of claims, legal and regulatory issues in the insurance sector.
• Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor claims performance and identify emerging risks, trends and opportunities for improvement (as part of oversight).
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across managing agents and the Corporation.
• Lead discussions on claims capabilities, performance and governance.
• Assess compliance with Lloyd's Claims Principles and intervene where performance concerns arise.
• Use claims data and MI to influence decision-making and drive improvement.
• Collaborate on thematic reviews, oversight activities and market-wide initiatives.
• Contribute to a culture of accountability, openness and continuous learning.
