Job summary

Claims Recruitment Services, on behalf of a top Lloyd's Syndicate, seeks an Operations Manager to lead claims operations, drive excellence and governance, and support the wider claims strategy.

You will oversee governance, audits, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and remediation from audits, with a focus on transformation and performance across third-party suppliers. This role requires strong analytical skills and stakeholder management within the claims domain.

Qualifications

• Experience in claims optimisation and transformation.
• Excellent stakeholder management at all levels.
• Understanding of business objectives and the market.
• Strong mathematical and statistical ability.
• Understanding of claims practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining governance frameworks, controls and operating procedures.
• Maintaining oversight of claims operational audits, regulatory requirements and internal control activities
• Supporting delivery of SOX, internal audit, external audit and other governance obligations.
• Leading remediation activities arising from audits, reviews and control testing.
• Partnering with Claims leadership, Finance, Compliance and other stakeholders to support effective risk management.
• Overseeing the subrogation and recovery process, driving identification, referral and maximisation of recovery opportunities.
• Overseeing performance management of third-party suppliers and outsourced service providers.
