Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR seeks a Senior Manager Civil & Structural - Infrastructure to lead site development infrastructure design and delivery. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team, ensure governance, safety and quality, and collaborate with partners across nuclear and large-scale projects.

You will shape engineering foundations for UK SMR sites, drive internal and external collaboration, and mentor engineers toward chartership while aligning with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent with engineering degree.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Extensive civil infrastructure design expertise and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and governance for civil infrastructure across site development.
• Lead internal and external teams; manage design partners and suppliers.
• Deliver infrastructure work packages meeting programme, cost, quality and safety targets.
• Drive complex engineering resolution and integrate infrastructure with plant design teams.
• Develop infrastructure design strategies and monitor performance metrics.
