Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to join our CS&A team across the UK. You will define, implement, and deliver civil and structural designs for diverse projects including nuclear facilities, working with experienced engineers and partners in a regulated environment.

You will manage interfaces with delivery partners, develop deliverables, and uphold safety and quality standards. The role supports hybrid working across our UK offices and requires a strong delivery mindset.

Qualifications

• Good, accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Good all-round technical design expertise using British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes
• Background engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery.
• Experience of working within a regulated and quality assured system.

Responsibilities

• Working in a team of CS&A engineers and architects to define, implement and deliver specified work.
• Delivery of civil/structural engineering design including reinforced concrete, plated steel, maritime structures and nuclear facilities.
• Manage interface to and between key Delivery Partners and the design team.
• Develop deliverables list and format (drawings, specifications, reports).
