Job summary

Amentum seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team in the UK. You will influence design, lead projects, and liaise with clients while delivering complex engineering solutions across multiple offices.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical delivery, and collaboration within a hybrid working environment across our UK office network. A degree in civil/structural engineering and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading civil/structural design projects with control over scope, time, cost and quality.
• Proven ability to lead projects of varying size and complexity, managing technical aspects, budget and resources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical quality and excellence of your work and of junior staff to meet scope, time, cost and quality.
• Project planning, delivery and financial performance of your work and that of junior staff.
• Communication with clients and other design team members to provide technical input and justification.
• Technical and professional guidance, support and development of more junior designers.
• Development and delivery of design documents and solutions.
• Chair and facilitate technical and non-technical meetings including progress meetings and design reviews.
• Independent and autonomous work during delivery of complex engineering activities.
• Coordinate & supervise surveys and assessments.
