Job summary

Amentum is seeking Principal Civil/Structural Engineers to join our team across the UK office network (Stockton, Newcastle, Glasgow, Westlakes and Warrington) with hybrid working options. You will lead civil/structural design delivery for complex projects, ensuring compliance with safety, standards, and client requirements.

Applicants should hold an accredited MEng in Civil Engineering with strong experience in design delivery, regulated environments and collaboration with delivery partners.

Qualifications

• MEng degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent accredited qualification.
• Broad technical design expertise using British and international standards and Eurocodes.
• Track record delivering civil/structural engineering works in regulated environments.
• Experience within a quality-assured, regulated system.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural design delivery for specified works including reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Coordinate interfaces with Delivery Partners and design teams.
• Develop and manage deliverables, drawings, specifications and reports.
• Contribute to safety, functional and business requirements across projects.
