Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Principal CS&A Engineer to lead a team of civil/structural engineers delivering safety‑driven designs across UK projects, headquartered in Glasgow with hybrid working. You’ll oversee reinforced concrete, plated steel and nuclear facilities, ensuring delivery to schedule, budget and regulatory standards.

You’ll collaborate with Delivery Partners and design teams, manage interfaces, and develop deliverables lists such as drawings, specifications and reports, while championing

Qualifications

• MEng degree in Civil Engineering (accredited) and Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer.
• Strong design experience to British/Eurocodes standards.
• Proven delivery of complex civil/structural projects in regulated environments.
• Experience working within quality assured systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of CS&A engineers and architects in defining, implementing and delivering work to safety, functional and business requirements.
• Deliver civil/structural design including reinforced concrete and steel structures, and nuclear facilities.
• Manage interfaces to Delivery Partners and the design team.
• Develop deliverables list and formats (drawings, specifications, reports).
