Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineering Design Manager to lead design input across multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, from early concepts through delivery, ensuring buildability, compliance and value.

You will manage external design consultants, collaborate with clients and operational teams, embed safety and sustainability, and drive innovative engineering solutions across civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience managing design through the full project lifecycle.
Strong understanding of integrated design delivery and managing consultant performance.
Experience with BIM and common data environments.

Responsibilities

Lead design input on multi-disciplinary projects from concept to delivery.
Coordinate with project managers, clients, consultants and contractors.
Ensure designs are buildable, compliant, innovative and efficient.
Embed health, safety and environmental considerations into engineering solutions.
Ensure integration across civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical functions.
Drive innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
