Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineering Design Manager to lead design input across multi-disciplinary projects from concept through delivery. You will partner with the Project Manager to manage external designers and ensure designs are buildable, compliant and efficient.

The role requires leading technical assurance, evaluating interfaces, and coordinating with clients, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing design through the full project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of integrated design delivery and consultant performance.
• Experience with BIM and common data environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design input on multi-disciplinary projects from concept to delivery.
• Manage external design consultants and contractors per contract terms.
• ensure constructability, maintainability and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers and stakeholders.
• Drive innovative, practical engineering solutions aligned with client needs.
